We have seen, for example, images in class that are not in the textbook, including a number of works by Vermeer. Although you will not be expected to know the titles or the dates of the slides not on the list, you should have a general understanding of these to be able to answer possible multiple-choice or short answer questions. Reading over your class notes should help in familiarizing yourself with these works.
C. The exam will also include multiple choice and short answer questions on the history and culture of the above-mentioned societies. This is the type of knowledge that should be stressed when studying for the exam.
